Q: How to prepare for a waxing service?
A: The best way to prepare for waxing service is by exfoliating and avoiding shaving before your appointment.

Q: What is exfoliating?
A: Exfoliating is removing your dead skin cells. Our skin cells constantly renew themselves, so to keep them looking fresh and renewed you should exfoliate at least once a week.

Q: How long does the hair need to be?
A: For best waxing results the hair should be at least a 1/4 of an inch.

Q: How long do I need to wait after I shave to get the best waxing results?
A: For best waxing results, the best wait time is between 2 to 3 weeks after shaving.

Q: How do I need to treat my skin after waxing to avoid breakouts and irritation?
A: It is best to use products that are film free. After waxing try not to take a shower, go to the gym, tanning or swimming for at least 2 hours after service. Avoid products that are alcohol or oil based for great results.

Q: What are film free products?
A: A film free body wash is a body was without moisturizer or perfume. A film free body lotion is a lotion that does not feel greasy.
Product that is not film free will leave a film on your skin that will interrupt the hair from growing outside your skin and will create ingrown hairs.

Q:What is speed waxing?
A: Our services are fast and easy, we value your time.

Q: What is the difference between a Bikini Line, Full Bikini and a Brazilian?
A: Bikini Line covers what you would show when you wear bikini bottoms, Full Bikini is as much or as little from the front including the labia and a Brazilian is the full bikini plus a strip down the inner buttocks. (Full buttocks is an additional service).

Q: Am I going to be the only person in the room with the technician?
A: Yes, It will be only you and the technician in the room (with the exception of children).

Q: Can I get any waxed if I'm using any acne medication like Retin-A or Accutane?
A: If you are using Retin-A you can not wax your face, since it is a topical cream. If you are using Accutane it is advised not to wax any part of your body, since it is taking orally; the medication thins your skin throughout your body, therefore waxing can cause taring and irritation of your skin.

Q: What kind of wax is being used?
A: I am using hard wax.

Q: What are the benefits of hard wax?
A: The hard wax is less abrasive on the skin, removes coarse hair very efficiently and less painful then soft wax. Recommended for sensitive skin.
